In India, it's becoming increasingly common for payments apps to become so-called "super-apps", offering a range of different services beyond just making payments. While this might seem like a great idea in theory, in practice it can actually make things more complicated for users. With so many different options to choose from within a single app, it can be easy to get lost and overwhelmed. But what if there was a better way?
Enter Slashpay
Founded in 2021 with a vision to make payments simple and seamless. Raised money from Top Tier Venture Funds like SAIF Partners (Elevation Capital), and prominent angels.
Slashpay lets you send/request/pay money to anyone, no matter what payment app they use. With thousands of D2C/Creator stores, Slashpay covered your shopping needs as well.
As the sole designer, my responsibilities included all aspects of the company's visual identity, user interface, and user experience.
Single-handedly designed the end-to-end Android app, iOS app (in waitlisting) website, social media posts.
Shipped multiple key features for Slashpay: UPI Mapper, UPI International, UDIR & Credit Card on UPI
